NORYL™ resin is one the most comprehensive solutions which SABIC offers. Based on proprietary modified polyphenylene ether (PPE) technology, NORYL™ is an amorphous blend of PPE resin and polystyrene. It is characterized by excellent dimensional stability, enhanced processing characteristics, and good retention of properties after long water exposure, meaning that it is ideal for use in a range of applications.

ULTEM™ resin is an amorphous thermoplastic polyetherimide (PEI) resin. It offers unparalleled mechanical performance in high heat and chemically challenging environments, as well as high strength and stiffness, making it an ideal resin for applications exposed to hot water and other challenging conditions.

LEXAN™ polycarbonate resin is an amorphous engineering thermoplastic. It is characterized by outstanding mechanical, optical, electrical and thermal properties, which can make it ideal for use in a variety of applications. The versatile portfolio also offers a number of options for customizing your applications.

CYCOLAC™ is an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) thermoplastic resin, and is widely recognized as a tailorable engineering material offering outstanding aesthetics, flow, toughness, dimensional stability, and high temperature resistance. This can make it ideal for use in a number of water management applications, in particular faucets and shower heads.

GELOY™ advanced amorphous terpolymer of acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) resins can have an exceptionally high weatherability, as well as heat and chemical resistance. Their blendability also means that they can be customised to suit your application. GELOY™ resin can offer exceptional durability in outdoor environments without painting, making it ideal for application housings, even in harsh conditions.

  • Villagepump using NORYL™ FE1410PW for internal and GELOY™ CR7520 for housing.


SABIC LNP™ compounds can offer valuable solutions to internal water meter parts requiring tight dimensional control, lubricity, and long-term hydrolytic stability. Meter accuracy over time can be enhanced, as specialty LNP LUBRICOMP™ compounds are designed to perform predictably for the life of the meter, regardless of water conditions. They may also save in cost of goods versus metal parts which require secondary operations.

Suspension Poly Vinyl Chloride (SPVC) can be used for different domestic pipe applications such as clean water supply pipe and waste discharge pipes. SPVC pipe is easily to install
by using PVC cement/glue. SPVC can offer good pressure resistance for the water supply and can be a sustainable alternative to the traditional clay and steel pipe. SPVC has shown long-term improvement in water quality and in reliability of sanitary systems. SPVC 67S is used for pipe applications while SPVC 59S is used for pipe fitting applications.
